Currently Amsoil does NOT manufacture an EaO filter for the Toyota 5.7L engine. They will sell you a WIX filter, but they do not make one of their synthetic EaO filters for us. I have asked the technical service folks at Amsoil if they plan to make one; here is what they told me:

But what good is that type of review if customers don't buy WIX filters?
What about the could-be customers that DON'T buy Amsoil lube because they don't have an EaO filter?
I don't think they've considered those two groups.
I suggest you login to their Contact Us area of the website, and submit a suggested product to them, as I did. Then post your replies here. I really want them to develop an EaO filter for the Toyota 5.7L. Here's the link to the form: https://www.amsoil.com/techservices.aspx
Would you be willing to help?
Thanks guys!

Re: AMSOIL Synthetic EaO Filter for the 5.7L Engine
I would prefer to use an EAO for my 5.7, if they made one.
From what amsoil told me; there are no immediate plans to do so and if there were, the filter would probably be good for only 10k miles. Simply because it's a cartridge style filter, and they're unsure of what the capabilities will be.
Re: AMSOIL Synthetic EaO Filter for the 5.7L Engine
I'm not a fan of cartridge filters, just put in a wix yesterday, I'm happy with it- wix less than 4 bucks, amsoil 15ish.
But I would still prefer an amsoil filter.

Re: AMSOIL Synthetic EaO Filter for the 5.7L Engine
I talked to my amsoil regional rep about this, and I concluded that I would rather have them build a kit adapter for one of their remote dual filter systems. That way you can easily replace it with a spin on filter, not have to remove the skid plate (depending on mounting) and the benefit of superior filtration. They already make plenty of EaO filters for their spin on units. They also have an oil "charger" type thing that attaches to the unit so you have instant oil pressure on startup, thus eliminating significant wear..... just a thought. I would pay a premium for that system. Just the better filtration and the ease of change alone makes it a no-brainer in my book. Just my opinion.....
Re: AMSOIL Synthetic EaO Filter for the 5.7L Engine
The remote by-pass filtration systems and the pre-oilers are excellent additions to any engine. Some over-the-road trucks use them with great success and massive $$$ savings per year. I've got a testimonial with documentation from a man who has saved over $5,000/yr on fuel using a by-pass system on his big rig.
But, I've got some other unfortunate news from the Amsoil headquarters as of recent. Regarding the EaO filters for all Toyota applications. I'll post about it later once it gets confirmed with a new Amsoil TSB. In short, we may all be using a different filter. (unless you don't care about the extended 20k mile drain interval)

Yes, although I don't have any experience with them, I support you guys and we definitely need more aftermarket support of any kind.
