I have come to the conclusion that my dealer refuses to stock parts. Everything that I need for a repair has to be ordered. Now, as a member of this web group, we are all aware of the common problems associated with our vehicle models. For example, us TUNDRA owners are all to familiar with the O2 sensor issue. You would think that with a common problem such as this, an O2 sensor would be in stock. No. They had to order it then, just like they need to order every single part on the repair bill this time. Is it just my dealer or does you dealer have to order what seem like common parts?

I recently had my '02 Tundra O2 sensor replaced by a mechanic. I think the dealer had it in stock. By the way, I have previously seen on here that you should buy only Toyota sensors...they last longer I read here.

Haven't had my Tundra long enough to need parts, but they never seemed to have parts in stock for my Taco. Even when the ball joints were recalled, they set up an appointment to change them out, only to discover they didn't have any of the replacements in stock. Really ticked me off so I made them pick my truck up from work and deliver it back afterwards when the parts finally did come in. I love my Toyotas, but the service dept has nothing on my local Ford dealer (my ex-wife had an Explorer and I had a Lightning -- the dealer always took great care of us).
