Re: Slam It or Lift It or Stock?
This is easy....purchase a set of Donahoe coilovers (due out in April) and lift the front about 2" to give the truck a more level look. And, the coilovers ride WAY better than the stock coilovers....best part is that they are adjustable and you can lower/lift the front to your liking. Best $995 you will ever spend.

Once some kits are available, and some wheels Ill go the lowering route for sure.

Re: Slam It or Lift It or Stock?
Depends on how much money you have, lifting it is the most expensive.

Re: Slam It or Lift It or Stock?
Lift it, but not completely crazy, then it just becomes a show truck...like the F350's with the 12 inch lifts on 37's with 4 chrome shocks in front..just for show, nobody that owns that would off road that

My guess is that if you're spending $995 on coilovers they will be part of a much larger lift.
You could get that 2" level from a set of $120 spacers.

Re: Slam It or Lift It or Stock?
The poll should have a choice for a leveling lift, it has been a very popular item in the past.

Re: Slam It or Lift It or Stock?
Leveling falls under Basically Stock, it's usually just spacers to fit slightly larger Tires or Big Rims.

Re: Slam It or Lift It or Stock?
Leave it stock. When I'm finally able to afford an 05/06 DC, the only height adjustments I would most likely do would be to level out the front end. Of course, there are the other little knick-knacks but nothing major.

Re: Slam It or Lift It or Stock?
if i find me some 10-20k$ laying around after i purchase my tundra, i hope to do a straight axle to be able to fit some 37s -40s with no problem, i really dont wanna mess with aftermarket lift kits; but i have other dilemmas i must overcome first (like longer bed on cmax, and future diesel option, hopefully)

Good to see that most prefer Big Rubber to Big Wheels (not that there's anything wrong with Big Wheels)
I'm going up 6" w/17" wheels and 35" rubber.
Personal Preference.

Yeah there is something wrong with big wheels, they are just for looks can't do any real four wheeling with them.

Re: Slam It or Lift It or Stock?
um, i would not call 17" rims big wheels, therefore having a problem fourwheeling.... most people whom i see come into the shops ive worked at use a 16" rim on their rigs,

Re: Slam It or Lift It or Stock?
An Off Road rig should not have bigger than 18" wheels unless you're on 40's
I'm not even sure 16" wheels will clear the brakes on the 07 Tundra.
20" plus Wheels are STREET.
Why they even make r20 35" All Terrain tires is a mystery; there is no sidewall.

Re: Slam It or Lift It or Stock?
You can't fit anything smaller than an 18 inch wheel on the 07 Tundras due to clearing the brake caliper.
