All a man really needs for happiness in this world is a good woman, a faithful dog, and a big-a$$ed set of tires on his truck.

set of headers....(id choose from jba or ssautochrome) with an 18" magnaflow muffler...not too loud but just right..even though i wish it was louder!

A REAL truck.
None of the above. I went to a local shop and told the guy what I wanted to achieve. Deep, throaty, burbling, rumble with minimal drone. He did a flowmaster single-in, dual-out 50 series muffler, and it sounds great with zero drone.
So really, I think that 'home-built' is best.

Id have to go with TRD or Magnaflow. I sure as heck wouldnt go with Flowmaster!!! Ive got a Flowmaster 50 Series single-in/dual-out muffler on my F-150. The first one rotted out in 2 1/2 years (and it was stainless). The one thats on my truck now is about 2 years old and the welds are already starting to rust-out on it.
I personally think that TRD and Magnaflow sound the best.

I ordered the TRD dual exhaust, curious how that will sound...!!

feel welcome to visit www.totforum.com, a slightly transport-related forum in the netherlands.
the flowmasters only really drone ( up hill, quarter to mid throttle, hauling ) on the highway under light throttle its quiet (mild), if there are hills in your area you can hear it. the borla is just smooth and mild all the time ( in my opinion its quiet for a truck ) borla uses quality piping and stainless steel, though pricey ( i thought to pricey for a truck), trd is barley louder than stock, decent quality high price, gives you the looks of a daul exhaust though
