Won't have delivery of CM LTD 4x4 5.7 for a few more weeks, but I have already contacted my insurance guy (State Farm) to get a quote. I carry full coverage with 500 deduct collision, but I don't remember exacts on Bodily injury/property damage liability, Comprehensive, and Major medical. I was quoted at $305 every 6 months. I have never had an accident claim and no speeding tickets in about 8 years, my driving record is clean. I am 33 yrs old in Wisconsin. I think answers your questions.
Wondering how long after delivery before I get my first ticket for hauling azz.
I am paying about $316 for full coverage and $500 dollar deductable every 6 months from Farmers. I am 40 and haven't had a ticket in 10 years at least....knock on wood. I am in the Houston, TX area where it can be a jungle.

4x4's in Alaska have higher insurance rates than 4x2 vehicles. Most people up here with 4x4's are just like anywhere else. They can't drive on ice and snow worth a dayum. Every time it snows more than an inch here the highways look like war zones with all the wrecked 4x4's in the ditches. You would think that people who drive on snow and ice 7 months of the year would get good at it. They don't. For the most part it proves my theory that there are just a lot of really bad drivers on the road. We have lived here for 25 years. In those 25 years when someone tells me they wrecked their 4x4 I asked them if it was in 4 wheel drive at the time. I don't recall any of those ever replying, "YES.". I always tell people that its too late to put your truck in 4 wheel drive once you are upside down in the ditch. Unfortunately people lose their lives every year doing this. Mrs. Torch and I have never had a wreck that was our fault and neither of us has ever had a ticket. We pay approx. $350 every six months on the Tundra for insurance.

I pay $962 a year or $80.16 a month with $500 deductable, should be lower in 2 months when I renew my yearly. I'm 23 live in Oregon and the insurance company is Pharmasicts Mutual, you have to be a pharmacist to get it. I have had many tickets but it has never affected my rates.
I think the quote I got from GEICO was probably over $500 every six months and that's with high coverage limits and a high deductible. I think we pay higher rates in Texas due to the hail storms and other storms that we get every few years that can total a vehicle from the sky. We haven't had one of those in Central Texas for a while but there's a threat of it evey Summer. Your car or truck could end up looking like a golf ball.
