Suggestion to mods: 'New Truck Pic' section... PLEASE!! - Toyota Tundra Forums : Tundra Solutions Forum

This forum is getting out of control with all the new 'Pics of the new Tundra!' threads. Can we create a new thread sticky titled 'Post New Tundra Pics Here' and migrate all the others and have members post there? It sure would streamline this forum and make it more useful for those that have seen 87 pictures of each color already and are looking for more relevant information.

werd...I avoided the specifc "here's my new truck" pics thread for just this reason.

Sorry if I bugged anyone putting up the new pics the other day. I know in my case I was so excited I couldn't help it. I hate making "Faux Pas" as a new member on a forum.

That's bull! I haven't even posted my off roading pics yet. I thought people loved checking out the new Tundys. Oh well.

It's not that I don't want to see them, that's why I said we need a section for them so we can go to that thread to look at nothing but pics. What I'm frustrated by is getting the notification email every day and having to sort through all the new threads when almost half of them can be consolidated to one single thread. It would clean up the forum and make it SO much better to navigate and scan through. It's not a bad thing at all because it gives a single location for people to look for truck pics when that's what they're specifically looking for. It's a win win situation really.

Trust me, I plan to have an '07 when they offer more incentives and do like looking at the pics. I would just rather see all the pics on one thread instead of scattered all over the place.

Great idea Jer. I have put the "Automotive News Photos" on my ignore list because they became extremely annoying after a short time. It would be great if I could a similar thing with all of the 07 pictures.

There great trucks and congrads on the purchase but do we really need to see the truck over and over again?

I agree with single (or special) threads for frequently rehashed/added to topics, like pictures of new trucks.

New Tundra pics = good, but organization = good too!

How about this. A thread is started that is titled "2nd Gen(07+) Truck pics". This thread will be to only post pics and details of the pics. Any replies to a pic will be deleted. It should also state, any questions comments about a specific pic should be directed to the owner of that pick via Private Message.

If this can be followed consistently, I could turn it into a "sticky."

Two guys that don't like the pics don't have 07 Tundra's. Go figure. If YOU DON'T LIKE A THREAD DON'T CLICK ON THE LINK. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure that out.

Yes lets limit the threads so people won't feel welcome on this Forum. Run members off, forum gets less hits. Yeah that's the way to run a Forum. I see people like this on every forum. I gotta wonder about people that can't control their index finger and they click on threads they don't like.

GGWOODY is funny. Gotta love his sarcasm....He just got his truck, posts 65 different poses of the truck and himself now says he doesn't want to see any links to pics.

My question. Do you want to drive off new members? That's what you are talking about. People want to show of their new trucks. That SHOULD be what this Forum is about. Or we can all rehash floormats in every other thread, or bedliners or toppers or lift kits. Hey, its for everyone. If someone doesn't like the thread have the smarts to ignore it. Don't let the tools run the forum.

Good idea but good luck getting brand new members to figure it out.
