Posted this at end of another thread and meant to start a new one. Sorry about doubling it up.
Anyone have a speculation on what the interest rates in GST will do next month. I have a feeling they will get better, or worst case, stay pretty much the same w/ the rising gas prices and Toyota wanting to push this new truck against ford and general motors. On the other side, how are sales doing. I hear of people having trouble finding tundras. Not sure if that is just people not being able to find one equipped as they want or a general strong demand that the factories are behind on. I See quite a few on the lots. I also here the 5.7's are in much stronger demand and scares me the incentives may get better for the 4.7 but may lose some on the 5.7 that I am getting. What does everyone else think?
From talking around here, I don't forsee any changes for next month, unless it is for the better.
Sales here have picked up a lot since the 0% for 60 months came out. We still have a bunch on the lot, but the pickings are starting to get a little thinner. The 5.7 is definitely in much higher demand than the 4.7.

Just curious, mr DA GROVE, but what would be better than zero percent. Maybe zero percent and you go clean their house for a month, lol
What up Alan? Busy weekend already, if I didnt have gray hair already, I sure would now, lol

They may do the 0% and rebate, they may cut the 0% and go to 2.9%. I think our sales on Tundras have at least tripled since the 0% came out. I may have to pick myself up one if they keep the special lease rates and bring out the 3year lease with the 2 year residuals like they did a few years ago.
Pretty freakin crazy this weekend. As they said in the sales meeting on Friday, "call your wife and kids and tell them you'll see them Tuesday." Good weekend, but sure am glad it's over.

I hope you did well this weekend. It sucks to have to work these kinds of holidays from start to finish like that. It's one of the reasons why I try not to go to dealerships during these busy weekends. Besides the crowds, I figure that someone is having to pay for all of those employees being away from their families over the holidays and I would rather it not be me.

Buy your truck outside of the Gulf States Toyota monopoly if you don't want to compromise.

so in other words, "YOU DONT KNOW", hahahaha
Another good thing about the tundra and toyota financing is that Toyota finanacial is under a lot of pressure to approve loans that they normally wouldnt on Tundras. So if your credit has some challenges but you still want a tundra. you got a shot at one
Next Tuesday I will know and until then , it is all rumor
