Pricing and DealersDiscussions that are specific to vehicle pricing, preferred dealer pricing, current incentives, rebates, and experiences.
This is a discussion thread titled "incentives", within the Pricing and Dealers forum, part of the Marketplace Forums category.
Anybody who bought a Tundra in April upset about the new incentives like 0% for five years. I got 4.9% for 4years and have a huge payment and paying $3400 for the same truck.
if you want to have the truck before everyone else then you should already know your going to pay more ... i had no choice and i needed the truck so i decided that paying more for it was worth it in the long run...
I bougt mine at the end of the month and the sales mandid up the paper work and told me to wait untl the new numbers come out on finaceing and i they were lower they would give me the lower number but they weren't so got the 5.9%

I did the 3.9 for 36, and after a trade-in and a sizable downpayment, I am only paying just over a thousand in total finance charges. Figure all the fun I've had over the last two months, and its not that upsetting. Just life, there's always a better deal after you have made yours, got to jump in sometime.
Even if you didn't know that: 1) The new Tundra is a little overpriced; 2) Gas prices would go up; 3) Domestics would be using incentives again to move trucks - there were plenty of predictions here on this forum about what would happen to Tundra pricing and/or incentives.
You've had months to enjoy a hot new truck while the rest of us have been envious so don't feel so bad. Some of us have been waiting, though, and our time has almost come.
Let's hope the June incentives truly rock.
