This is a discussion thread titled "Where is MY 2007 Tundra", within the Pricing and Dealers forum, part of the Marketplace Forums category.
Do you guys have any idea on this subject? I ordered a 2007 TRD 4x4 White Tundra back in April and was to get delivery Aug 15 of this year past summer. My dealer in Calgary canada , called and said it was delayed to the first week of Sept. It never came. The past 2 weeks it was gauranteed to be in each Friday. Never showed up.
I called them this past Friday and asked what the Heck was going on. Oh I will find out on Tuesday (monday, Today) is a holiday. So looking on the forum I see that the factory in the states are making 2008's as of Mid September and some have been delivered. Obviously it doesn't look like I am getting a 2007? Man frustrated or what.
Poor Canadians, we're snapping up all the Tundras so fast those trains and semis can't even reach the northern border! Maybe you folks should talk Toyota into building a plant in Alberta (aka Texas of the North). Good luck, hope it shows for you soon and in one piece!

You've been alot more patient than I would be. This late in the season I'd say it'd better be seriously discounted, or get an '08.
Allright guys, anybody experienced this or heard of this before???

Your dealer has obviously not kept up their part of the bargain. I would suggest you get your deposit back and go shopping south of the border for a 2008 model and save $10,000 to boot. I am getting mine from the U.S.

I'm from British Columbia and will be picking up my 2008 CM Ltd. I ordered from the Toyota dealer in Columbia, SC., in the middle of November. Sure a whole lot less money than Canada!
Interesting. I put in a request for a Pyrite 07 Tundra 4x4 Double Cab SR5 Package B truck on Saturday. Makes me wonder how soon they can get it into my dealer's lot. Is the list mentioned a few posts back, the only way to know an ETA on the truck? Or are they able to kick me to the 08 model without me knowing?

Sanosuke!
If you ordered a truck that isnt made yet, it will be a 2008. They stopped taking orders on 2007s months ago. They must be trying to locate one on another dealers lot.

Are you driving it home or having it shipped? That might be a rough breakin for you Big T. What is that, a 2500 mile trek?
I hope you have more reason to make a stop in Columbabad then to buy a truck? Are you a Canadian Gamecocks fan?

We are driving it the 2,733 miles home. We have not visited that part of the U.S. yet and are making a holiday out of it. Did the same in 2000 with our Avalon; wanted to see Eastern Canada but didn't want to drive both ways so bought the car online from a dealer in Newfoundland, went and picked it up and drove home through eastern Canada and U.S. Great trip!

If its in November you might want to try to get a ticket for one of their games (it will be difficult to find one reasonably priced). Nothing like 80,000 drunk college students and rednecks partying for 3 days straight and then being put inside a bowl to watch their team compete in the best college football conference in the US of A.
If you can't get a Gamecocks tix then 100 or so miles back in the direction of BC is Clemson, which despite what either side will tell you is almost the exact same experience.
Either way you will have an experience like no other and a story to tell your grandchildren, I's garronty feller!

Sounds like quite an experience! Thanks for the heads up.
