here i sit at my dealer getting my oil changed and tires rotated. been here over an hour so far. why cant this place be like the wifes benz dealership? they have nice gourmet coffee makers and this one has a nasty old coffee pot. MB has multiple flat panel TVs this one has one 27'' tube tv hanging on a bracket and has horirble reception. the waiting room is so small u can smell your neighbor. no soft sofas either. to top it off i had to bring my own laptop, MB provides u with computers......oh well.....just had to vent. oh and no magazines worth a crap to read....and how many brochures in spanish does a dealership need? this is america for friggin cryin out loud.....
Sorry to hear your dealership is lacking some amenities. The dealership I go to here in the Denver Metro area is brand new. They have three seating areas: a open area in the dealership lobby, a tv room with black leather recliners and a 40+ inch LCD HD flat panel tv, and an office area to do work. Oh and a complimentary bar area with snacks and drinks. It is by far one of the best dealerships I have ever been to for service and while I am in CO I probably won't go anywhere else.

We have a local dealer that takes forever, but they at least have a large sitting area. We have another dealer that does it in 30 minutes or your next one free. I received a free one once when they dropped the oil cap in my 2002 Tundra and it took a while to fish it out.
Lexus of Clearwater is a friggin Ritz...They have a full waiting/gourmet room with sofas, plasmas, drink machine that makes coffee, hot chocolate, tea, etc...Vehicle delivery room that has marble flooring and is closed off so they can demo new cars...Its sick. The MB and Porsche dealers aren't bad either haha.

We just got a new dealer last week and its huge not to talk about the other one 25 miles from my house. It's even bigger I think it is the largest in the state last I heard.
Lowe toyota.

I heard through my buddy who owns a Mitsubishi, Suzuki, and three other used car dealers that he has a buddy that owns a Toyo dealer and Toyota is requiring that the dealers be a certain size and have a certain look. Thats why new HUGE Toyota dealers are popping up. There's a new $20 million Toyo dealer here in Tallahassee and its gigantic!

RMcCleary, which dealer do you go to? I bought my truck at Stevinson West, and have been back for 2 oil changes. It's fairly new, but doesn't have any of the stuff you are talking about.

Stapp Interstate. It used to be Longmont Toyota. Great guys and I have been in there for both my 5k and 10k service and will do any other service I need up there. It's a little bit of a drive from Wash Park but definitely worth it.

Mines has Arcade, falt screen Tv's two in the waiting area a nice shop to get food and drinks and a big show room to boot with really sharp trucks on display on the side walks out side the building. Has the new boxes with the keys in it so they don't have to key the customers waiting by runing back inside to get them.

The new Herb Chambers Lexus dealership has a 40 car showroom, a crazy coffee bar type thing and a three-row service drive with automatic doors that have sensors when you pull up...and that dealership came with a price tag estimated at $54,000,000 to build...Just goes to show the difference between those of us who buy Toyotas and those of us who buy Lexuses. Or is it Lexi? lol just kidding. but yeah I worked at a Lexus dealership (not as big as H.C...)

Loaded up with almost all Toyota had to offer, plus a few things they didn't offer...
well it was all done in little over an hour and a half...only reason i returned was for my second free oil change and i had a coupon for 9 bucks rotate...not too bad for 9 bucks total....
so im done with toyota of plano, i'll use one closer next time. we actually went next door to park place lexus (park place motorcars is where we bought our benz) and since they the same group, and they kinda know me in there too we went over there for a snack and drinks and to watch tv and came back a half hour later and it had been done for a little bit...oops...oh well.

Ah Lexus of Tampa here in FL is similar to what you mention of HC...40+ car showroom with multiple levels...Also there is no real lot of cars...If you want to look at most of the cars you hafta go inside the dealership and the top three levels of the dealership are cars...Basically they have a three level parking garage above the dealership. All other features are the same as you mention and same as the ones I mentioned in Clearwater Lexus. Here's a little pic of Lexus of Tampa Bay that I found...Its a SICK dealership. By the way the pic does not show the parking garage levels above...This is only a small part of the friggin mammoth dealership.
