This is a discussion thread titled "Current Economy with 08 Sequoia Pricing", within the Pricing and Dealers forum, part of the Marketplace Forums category.
That is a very big discount for a new model. I know fleetrates is selling limited Sequoia for around $46k the MSRP of this model is around $53k. What option did you get to move it $55k.
Sounds like you made a great deal I would like to know if you got the 5.7 engine and if you got the 0% financing seeing that I might just go ahead and trade my Seqouia in for a new one with these great prices.
We did get the 5.7 with literally every option, no financing though, paid cash.

What color?
We did get an amazing deal, but again, we based our negotiation starting point on the deals advertised at Antwerpen Toyota. Color is black with gray leather and it has everything I think you can put on it that I'm aware of, more than we needed for sure!
I am also new to the forum and thought it may be good timing to get a deal .85 and 0% financing for 60 months. I have heard the dealers are not moving many Sequoia's and this could be a good time to buy.
I got my 2008 Limited at Mahantan Beach Toyota thru Dianne Whitmire last Thursday 5/15. I got Dianne's number from this forum, looked up on her site for the inventory and called her up with the one I wanted (Timberland Meca Limited). I wanted that truck at 45656 with 0% interest. She gave me that truck at 45490 (beat my price!) with 0% interest for 60 months! I called her back after 2 hours of thinking over and gave her my infos. She took care all of the paper work, clean up the truck, move it to the front office and wait for me to come in the next morning. I came in and walked out there in about 2 hours (Lost alot of time for the finance man to try to sell me the extended warranty). She even move my old car to the back lot and hold it there for me to pick up (lol, that car still sit there, she said no problem).
Anyway, if you are going to look really hard, you maybe able to find a better deal (But I did my homework, the price for this truck should be at 45656.00). But hey this is the way buying car should be! agreed the price on the phone and boom done. I don't want to come to the dealership and sit there hours to negotiate with them.
I am happy with my truck, more happy with the service, the price and the buying experience. I wish I knew this forum before I bought my 2007 Tundra DC, I would have bought the truck from Dianne too!
With the high gas prices and everyone buying small cars, I thought now would be a great time to get the Tundra CrewMax. I am in Maryland and see that the CarMax Toyota in Laurel's "no haggle" pricing is still quite high over MSRP considering these trucks are not moving off of the lots. Do you suggest Antwerpen in Maryland and to try to get under the current invoice per edmunds and KBB?
Toyota is now having a $3000 cash back incentive (until June 2, 2008) which is another motivator to get a nice Truck.
I bought my last car by strictly doing internet emails to the dealership. It is the only way to go and it really saves you time and alot of money which you can use to fuel this puppy.
Let me know what you have been paying 'out-the-door' for recent Tundra Crew Max purchases.

Toyota to reduce the amount of Seqs built bigtime. Sales are dead and will never recover. Hybrid version on extreme fast track.
