May 2008 Tundra Rebate?

I'm ready to pull the trigger on a 2008 Tundra DC SR5. Is there anyway to work this deal to see if the May 08 rebate will get bigger? Currently its $2,750 in my area. I see gas keeps ging up and I'm getting admittedly greedy. Is it goes to $3,500 maybe I spring for some leather seats. I'd hate to wait till May and see the rebate go down or dissappear all together.

Dealers don't even know what next month's rebates are. Even on 4/31, they don't know what they will have on 5/1. Its usually late morning on the first day of the new incentive month before Toyota let's us know.

The only thing I'm reasonably sure of is that the incentive will not be going down. It might get better, but it will not get worse.

Did you mean to say they will "not" be going down..... or was that by intent, meaning that no one has any idea what the heck the incentives will be doing.
