Default Leasing an 08 CrewMax LTD

Looking for last minute comments on my deal. I have a deal for tommorrow to Lease a Black 2008 CrewMax LTD MSRP $44,636. They quoted me a Sale Price of $40,374 and then applied a $1,000 rebate from Toyota to net to a Final Price of $39, 374.

I have bought 2 cars from this dealership including my 2005 Tundra and a 99 Landcruiser. Also, just last week I bought another Tundra and Camry for my business as well. I would like to think they are giving me a great deal and not just an average one due to the above. Any comments?

Honestly, to me, it sounds average. Sounds like it might be right around factory invoice or a little higher and then minus the rebate. Nothing particularly special about that, you can pretty much achieve that anywhere, without much effort, with the current market. Not what you wanted to hear Im sure.

You are right...It's not what I wanted to hear. I have flowed many vehicles through this Dealer and expected a really good if not great deal when it came to my personal vehicle. In addition my wife is a couple of weeks from trading in her Landcruiser.

Not a lot of competition around and their service department is great. Any advice on the next step...This is also a business relationship...

I actually think the cap cost they're quoting you looks pretty decent, especially in an area with almost no competition. They're giving you a $1000 rebate + a really low money factor, which is nice 'cause it's usually either one or the either. Assuming you're tier 1+, your rate should be in the .00029 - .00059 range. That's cheap money!

The only issue about leasing this truck is the low (real) residual. Toyota has subvented this lease in the way of a low momey factor only.
