For me I guess it wouldn't matter if I get an 08 or 09 limited crewmax since there are no major differences.
By any chance is there an electronic form of the document that I can take a look at?
Not that I'm allowed to send out. LOL. I have access through our secure connection with Toyota, but I don't believe I'm authorized to make that public.

So you're sure saying Toyota won't be building the Crewmax with the longer bed in 2009? I am like the Keadog have a need for the 6'5 bed.
I was told by Toyota reps last year it would become available last summer. Then, early this year I was told it would be late this summer. Recently I was told, it's definitely on the way, but when is the question.

I'm not saying its not possible that one will come out. I am saying that the latest infomation available to the dealers indicates that its not coming any time in the forseeable future. The Spec Book tells us how they can build them and there is no 6.5' bed CM in that book. They could bring out a new book, but I haven't seem any information about this.
I will be at a Truck Champion's business meeting next week. I'll certianly ask about it.

Appearenly, its "Rock Warrior". The Rock Warrior will be black or white with color keyed front bumpers, black rear bumper (even on the white for some reason) and will have black 17" TRD alloys with some really agressive tires. It looks like a neat package.

Great news! I have a tacoma here in Central PA that is in the process of being bought back by Toyota for rust perforation so I will use the buyback towards a new "Rock Warrior" Tundra.
Cliffy1: When you say it's available only on "grade" packages does that eliminate it from the Limited models? Also will production be restricted to certain geographies as other special editions have been or will us guys in PA and VA etc. be able to get these as well? Lastly, when do you think you will have pricing available on these and thus be willing to put an order in?
Production starts the first week of August. Tenatively, we should have them by the end of August, but if I were asked to make a promise, it would be for early September.
I have not started taking orders and generally prefer not to until we have pricing. I also prefer not to take orders until we actually start getting them allocated. That will not be until late June or early July. If a person wanted to place an order, I could, but it would be understood that equipment and price is subject to change until we actually get them in the supply line.
As far as I can tell, there are no changes to the DC except they are adding flex fuel models. I don't yet know if that's E85 or CNG flex fuel. I'm hoping its not E85 as I really have issues with the politics of that. I have a feeling that I'm going to be disappointed at the answer when I find it.
The only other changes I can see is that memory seats are no longer standard on the CM Limited but will be an option as it already is on the DC Limited.
I should also comment on the source of all of this. This is from the Spec Book that dealers can see. Its the only guide that the regional distributors use when placing orders to the factory for the regions. Its VERY official and also very confusing. Its not a public consumption document and would cause all manner of confusion if sent out in raw form.
You truly are a truck champion My next Toyota will be from you!

I don't know when I'll have real pricing, but at the meeting on Tuesday, they went over it. IIRC, it came to just short of $33,000 which is a bit less than an SR5 with typical equipment including the OF package. Unfortunately, they didn't really break it down so I don't even know if that price included the towing package and I suspect it didn't.
While the Rock Warrior package will not be available on a Limited, you can order a Limited with the same wheels and tires, except the wheels will be silver and not black. The effect would be very similar.
