This is a discussion thread titled "Horrible News on rebate....", within the Pricing and Dealers forum, part of the Marketplace Forums category.
Just got the call from my dealer that since the dealership that they were trading with never got back to them yesterday, the 3g cash back incentive is gone.......and he has no idea what or if there is a new one. Has anyone heard anything about if there is going to be another cash back deal?
In San Antonio, TX, it is still showing as $4,000 customer cash through 6/30... That's what I got on Saturday 5/31 also...
Sounds like a TOTAL screw job to me... Just go to that dealer's website, and look for the "incentives". Their (or a local competitor's) website should list Toyota's incentives on it...
Please let us know how this turns out, but I would NOT take no for an answer on this one... Did you sign contracts?

Ya ya, i keep hearing the resale is dropping like a rock, yet I still have not seen many used 5.7s in the Bay Area. One I did see was as expensive as a brand new one! The dealer tried to tell me that since it only has 12,000 miles it was essentially new because it was a toyota...

No i did not sign any contracts. I was going to if they could have transfered the tundra from the other dealer but they never got a response. If it does turn out to be 4,000 than not signing may have been a great move.
Well, today turned into my lucky day. The dealer was able to trade for the truck that I originally wanted, and since i didnt sign any paper work yesterday, I now get the new $3,500 rebate! Pretty lucky I didnt sign the paper work yesterday. It also means I will be ordering a banks exhaust this week
From what I have seen, the $3,500 is legit. I am also located in the East Bay and I have seen the incentive sheet for June. The 0% financing for 60 months is still in place, but the $1,000 down payment assistance (which was included with the 0% offer in May) is no longer available. I am planning to go with the 0% financing on a Limited Crewmax, so I am a bit bummed the $1,000 offer is gone. I was hoping they would increase the offer to $1,500. Oh well, maybe they will reinstate it toward the end of the month.

The dealer gave me that same crap on a demo for 40K and 5400 miles not to metion he brought me the truck dirty as hell.
My rebates here in SoCal thru June 30th are $4000 (or great lease terms, or 0 apr for 60 months) ... if you're seeking a huge discount + a huge rebate, call me. I have a very sweet selection, that's for certain.
