Default Help with Price of 2009 Tundra Sale What are you paying and Where?!!!!!!

I need some help I am looking to buy a 2009 Tundra Grade Crewmax 5.7 with Tow pack, Anit Theft,Fog Lamps, Tow Mirrors, and Bucket Seats. I have done my research and on edmunds they say the TMV for this truck is about $24900 after the $3500 rebate. I live in Louisiana and have contacted my local dealers and the best price I am getting is like $27,000. Can you please provide me some info on what everyone is paying what options you have and where you bought your truck. If anyone has some where I should contact to get a great deal Please let me know!!

Thanks,

Thanks,
How are the dealers quoting you? Perhaps $27k is the selling price before the rebate? Then they'll subtract the rebate out as if it were a down payment. If you're in LA, I believe you fall into the Southeast Toyota (SET) region and they have all kinds of weird fees down there.

What's the MSRP on the truck you're looking at?

I wasn't asking for the MSRP so you could negotiate down, I wanted to know simply so I could gauge where Invoice was at? Sheesh ... it doesn't really matter though as long as you know how much they have in the truck.

Regardless, it's not that tough to figure out. Take your edmunds invoice and add a few hundred to factor in for TDA (ad fee).

Holdback is 2% of Total MSRP less destination, and Wholesale Financial Reserve is 1%, or exactly 1/2 the holdback amount.

There's not a whole hella' of a lot of front end gross on these trucks. When you see huge discounts, it's usually because of large rebates and/or trunk money. Pricing changes all the time based on many factors. Maybe you just happen to be in a region where supply is low and they don't need to blow their trucks out for invoice or less. However, manufacturers incent vehicles to move them, and therefore, it shouldn't be unreasonable for you to get a near invoice deal.

If you're willing to pay a few hundred over invoice, why not just make them a counter offer? I dunno', maybe you already did, but if they don't budge, then find another dealer.
