I met one of the salesmen (formerly sold me a truck) who works at the dealership at a shopping area in my small town and just casually asked him if the owner was indeed that mad at me. He replied that he was, I said he'd probably get over it, and the salesman said that he had a very long memory and to not count on it.
I guess my truck has been banned from the dealership afterall.
I'm in the process of writing to corporate, for a few reasons.
a. When I have a bone to pick with someone, I pick it with them and not an intermediary. If the owner was mad at me, I think he owes me the courtesy of discussing it with me.
b. I've been a good customer for over twenty years.
c. They need to be aware at corporate what's going on here.
d. I don't like being treated this way, and no one else should be either.
Just so everyone is aware, the dealership treating me this way is Toby Murry Motors in Newport Oregon.
So corporate will hear my side of the story. Steve

Sounds like sour grapes to me. The dealership had a chance to work a deal with you and they failed to earn your business. With an attitude like that, the clown house won't be in business much longer anyway. If I were you, I would gladly spend my dollars elsewhere! I won't spend money at a business that does not appreciate me as a valued commodity ..... a customer.
I've bought a lot of vehicles, and I must say I've never dealt with such an unprofessional example. I can barely believe it, talk about acting like a little girl.
Yeah, a small town of about 10,000 nice people and one first class jerk(the dealership owner, not me!). Service manager at dealership is the younger brother of the owner. I haven't talked to the owner, and may not plan to. I think he owes me an explanation though. Corporate will get to the bottom of it. I don't like making waves, living by the ocean and all, but I feel that I've done nothing to deserve this treatment. Last time I checked, this is a free country, where capitalism and free-enterprise prevail.
