Default 2009 incentives?

Toyota's website claims the current -3K incentive is ending June 1. Anyone know from past experiences if they normally replace it with a higher incentive or does it take a few months?

I have my eye on an 09 SR5 and I'd like to know if I should pull the trigger now or wait.

The $3K incentive must be a regional thing. As of last week, there were no rebates or incentives on the 09's here in the Southeast. Just a few low APR financing offers. From what I have heard, the 2010's are due to start arriving sometime in June, so it is possible that they may increase the rebate, or may not. The dealers in this area have very few 09's on the lots, and what they do have are about 95% Double Cab V6's. If you really want that particular truck, make them a lowball offer, and see what happens. I just bought a new leftover 08 Double Cab Limited, with a couple of options, and got it for about $11k under sticker. Including the $4k rebate offered in this area. Took me three weeks of negotiating, but I got it for what I wanted to pay for it. Good luck!

I too would agree that if you don't want to wait until June or probably July to offer a good selection of 2010's with probably NO rebate to start off or at most 1500 until production picks up and the dealers have more 2010's on their lots and sales are not going to be brisk since really only major change is smaller 4.6L V8 engine, then if you like the 2009, I'd say go for it since 3K rebate won't go to over 4K since not many 2009's still around. If you don't like the color or options and cannot live with it, don't buy it since you won't be happy. I also would offer slighly lowball just in case they want to move it out to make room for 2010's soon.

this is completely regional, we have 4 '08s, about 12 '09s, and 10 '10s already. the 08's are marked below invoice, the 09's i'm sure have a good discount on them now, and as far as the '10s go they are prob at msrp but we have sold one already.
