Default Looking for a deal

I just sold my 2007 4.7 2wd Tundra because I want a 2010 5.7 4x4 Tundra. So with that said what kind of deal could I possibly get from a dealer on a brand new Tundra. They have offered me an incentive of about $2400.00 dollars but my real question is does anyone know how much wiggle room does the dealer have on final price. Any info would be appreciated.

Steve

Go to edmunds.com, you can build what you want options and all and it will give you invoice price and MSRP.

Their mark-up is about 11% on the base MSRP and about 20% average on the options.

Here in CA some dealers are willing to sell for dealer invoice.

Ask your dealer to see their invoice. If you believe everything you see on edmunds or kelley blue book, you will be dissappointed. There are other costs to the dealer that shows on their invoice that those websites do not know the final cost of. There are disclaimers "a note about advertising fees" located on these sites if you find them. Most people ignore them, then seem dumbfounded when the dealer's invoice is higher than what some website posts out there. However when I show them from the site they did research from the little disclaimer, somehow my computer added it there.

So just ask the dealer to see invoice if it is that big of a deal. If they won't show it, go somewhere else that will.

This may be case, I assume it is. Some of those websites also show the average of what people have been paying in the area you live for the same vehicle. To me that is a better guide to what price range you are looking at.
