Default Rebates for Tundras - going up?

I'm in the market to get my third tundra, and the first of the current generation of trucks. It looks like I missed out on all the killer '08 deals. I can't find any here in Utah. The current rebate is at $2500 for an 09.

I'm wondering if you folks think that's likely to trend up for the 09s as the '10s are not on the floors at dealerships. I'm willing to wait a few months if I need to.

I'm looking for a DC 4x4 SR5, either TRD or maybe Rock Warrior. A dealership near me has 4 RWs on the lot, retail 35k and he offered me 31k after rebate. I'm not sure that's a great deal. I'd like to keep it under 31 OTD.

I dont think it will go up as they did not make many 09's I would say take the deal and run with it. Oh the RW arent really worth it they are just tundra grades to be honest you would come out better with an SR5 with TRD package. I think that close to best your going to get but you can ask for 30K.

Me and my cousin both got a Rock Warrior 2009. He got a DC and I got a CrewMax. I like to get a couple quotes from internet managers and ask them for invoice minus rebate and to show you invoice. I either buy from them, but now I have a relationship with a manager and he shows me invoice on his computer. Actually he will get any truck, color, model from any lot within 150 miles at invoice - rebate.
