Finally-A Great Dealer on the West Coast
Well, I just finished taking delivery on a new 2010 Tundra SR5 ordered with all of the options that were wanted - some a little unusual. It took a couple of months to build and the dealer was in constant contact with updates and full disclosure of the details.
The dealership is San Francisco Toyota and the contact guy's name is Cory (SFTundraMan on this forum). He was absolutely great. He bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect. If there was a problem or question it was immediately resolved to my satisfaction and advantage. He had to endure 8 weeks of my whims, changes, and obsessive/compulsive behavior.
The pricing was unbeatable and I had shopped Toyota dealerships as far away as St. Louis to find a deal before discovering SF Toyota. It is in our own area so I should have looked locally first.
The drive to the Bay Area was horrendous, 3 1/2 hours to go 40 miles, so my wife and I were bedraggled on arrival. He was upbeat despite our sour commute demeanor, had the truck all ready to go, completed the paperwork in 20 minutes, and didn't go into any sales pitch for an additional buck like extended warranty or service deals.
Cory was more like a friendly next door neighbor than the usual shark encountered in sales.
My wife and I are retired teachers and have no affiliation with SF Toyota and no private contact with Cory. This message was written to give my friends here on TS a heads-up for a great hassle-free deal here on the West Coast.
