Hello,

After searching multiple websites, seeing Toyota's "Build your own" and viewing edmunds TMV pricing options, I am slightly confused.
-Can you order a DC and piece together the options or are you limited to the 5 "packages" that Toyota has on their DC website?
-Also, I'm disappointed that you can't order 17" wheels on a 4x4 with OF pkg. I think (?) this is true, correct me if I'm wrong. If one were to order a DC would the dealer be willing to swap wheels, (i.e.; put 17's on the DC).
-If THAT is true, would that affect any warranty items?

i also would like the 17" wheels with 4x4 and the off-road package.my guess is they aren't offering this combo because it will rub the wheel wells. i noticed the 17" tires i saw at the dealership were semi-low profile 65 series tires. maybe not enough sidewall for hitting rocks,etc.either way i would also like to know why so i can decide on one or the other or take my chances and get the trd pkg and just put the 17" rims on myself.they sure look sweet.thank you in advance for answering Dianne!

The OF package reduces the wheel size to 16" so you have to abandon that wish and take a truck with AA, JZ, LF etc -- get as close as possible to the OF without actually having it. I special order these regularly.

I am not sure of each item, but you can get an SR5 4x4 DC with a sunroof. I would have to check on the other stuff.

You can special order, thru me, anything you like as long as Toyota will build it. And, the OF package = 16" wheels; there is no 17" wheel with an OF package at all. As a dealer, I will not bastaradize a truck and rob it of 17's ... no one would be happy with the aftermath.

Sorry -- no idea at all on that one. I know that the add a "retro-style" Landcruiser in 2 years...

So if I order a truck and get 16's and the OF package on it, it's BASTARDIZED? Where did that come from? anyway, thanks.

Taking only the good stuff off a truck to make one right means you end up with the other one all wrong. That's often referred to that way.

You want the offroad package - but only the *good* parts of it - and the 17's off another truck & that isn't possible thru me as a dealer. You'd have to get the OF package and then go add 17" wheels/tires privately.
