Have 05 Tacomas hit any lots yet?

Hey everyone,

Just curious if anyone has seen any 05 Tacomas on dealer lots yet? It seemed like last week and the week before, I was getting emails and phone calls from all these dealers saying that their 05's were on the way, that they were in port, etc etc. I'm in California, and I even had a few dealers tell me that they were getting their first truck 'supposedly' last Saturday or Monday at the latest. Some even said watch for announcemnts come October 11th. In addition Ive read on many boards that people were seeing truck loads of them being driven around all last week.

So whats the deal??? It seems like all new info died this week and there is still no oficial info released by Toyota... I can't even get the dealers whom said they were supposed to get trucks this Monday to call me back! Imagine that!

Is this the calm before the storm? All info is appreciated as to when Toyota is finally going to reveal the official word on the 05 Tacoma and prices to the public. I mean, seriously, all information about Tacomas NEW competition is out already. 05 Dakota is out, and on the 05 Frontier you can literally build one on Nissan's site with all options and prices and that doesn't even hit lots until December!

Come on Toyota... my patience is wearing thin!

I saw a 05 Tacoma last week at the dealer where i bought my Tundra. They usally don't have many trucks there. I have only seen four Tundra's since they started building them and i bought one of them.
