Will your truck have the DVD navigation?
No - no DVD nav. Apparently the package for this is another $5k!!!
IIRC I think he mentioned that the DC SR5's starting around $42k

The pie for Toyota is not that big. They are confirmed at least 10,000 trucks nationwide, and there are rumours they may get another 5,000 on top of that at the most. What % of truck sales would that be?

I don't know the percentage. But that would be a major step from last year when the sold 3,000.

My truck a LTD crewmax with the B package (20" alloys + backup sensor), 4x4, 5.7L, etc. works out to CDN$51,955 plus freight/PDI of $1390, works out to CDN$53,345. If I recall correctly this same truck worked out to USD$49k and change in the states.

Do the math on the exchange.... this truck is cheaper in CANADA!!!

Toyota Canada has told the dealers that they feel Canada will have a 1.5% price advantage over USA for the Tundras.

BTW, the dealer has an identical sister truck coming in black that has not been spoken for.

Delivery has still not been confirmed, they are thinking mid-March. The regular and DC trucks arrive on Feb 20th. This particular dealer is getting a total of 20 trucks for 2007.
Which dealer are you purchasing from? Do you know the double-cab prices as well?

Hilltop in Salmon Arm, BC.

Check w/ TSK, forum member from Calgary - he is a dealer and I think he even posted prices on the monstrous ongoing '07 Tundra thread

There is still one error! It should read:

SR5 5.7 4X2 DC LB 36600 not SB as stated above.

And please keep in mind that the price for the SR5 5.7 DC long bed in both cases 4 x 2 and 4 x 4 also includes the Option Package B (Bucket Seats, Alu wheels, etc.) So to speak, the canadian prices are more then competive to the BIG 3 and to the 2006 Tundra as well. At least that is my opinon. I will get one!

I just picked up an 07 DC 5.7 LTD 4X4, Option C, running boards, TRD dual exhaust, Black with Red Rock leather in Portland. This beast had only 100miles on it, the guy who bought it visited clients alot and couldn't keep it clean so he bought a silver one. Yes, I did have it checked out by Toyota dealership and it is clean of accidents and etc... I picked her up for US$38,000, paid CAD$206 RIV and CAD$2400 Tax & AC at the Canadian border. Will have to pay the other tax when I register it.

Looking at the Toyota Canada website this baby list for CAD$54,417.50 before taxes. I paid CAD$41,800 before taxes (1.10 exchange) thats $12,617.5 difference and I could of saved another $1,100 if I waited to exchange my money.

I love this beast except for the gas bill

I had imported my US Tundra 07 in Canada, brand new from the dealer. No import tax duty except a flat rate import duty of 226$ for the R.V.I. (registar of import vehicle). I did save 18% comparing exact vehicle. I got my Tundra for 28900 US which.

So happy to have skunked Toyota Canada!

No warranty issue.

What dealer sold you a US truck new? Its not against any laws, but its against the agreements that Dealerships sign with Toyota.

Dealer did not know about my canadian citizenship. I had my uncle purchasing it. He has a part-time residence in Florida. So the dealer sold it to a person who has a US address. Then we had the truck titled to me here.
