Default What's a good price?

I want a 2006 Tacoma, 4X2 with the TRD Sports package (Silver)...I think my local dealer has them going right around $26,500 (sticker price)....I was thinking if I could get him down to $24,000-$24,500....In VA here if that matters...

What price should I try to get him down too? I have a 2003 Eclipse that is worth about $8,100 according to KBB and it's payed for so that'll be a good chunk off the Tacoma....

Thanks!

I assume we're talking about a access cab? My truck:
'06 ACC prerunner, 2x4, A/T, TRD sport(silver), towing pkg, Convinice pkg, 6cd changer, mountan bike mount. MSRP-27024.00,INV-24245.00, PAID-23845.00+ made them throw in extra TRD decals(so I can remove the originals until I sell it), 7-into-4 wiring adapter, all weather mats. Now deduct KBB TRADE IN price for your car, and thats what you should pay- NO MORE!!! we're talkin a year old truck thats been sittin' on the lot here!. Think about all the other guys that have taken her for a "test drive"- makes my skin crawl...

I think I've changed my mind and I'm looking at the 4X4 now, how much should I be looking at for the 2006 Tacoma, 4X4 with the TRD Sports package (Silver)?

The sticker around here is right at $30,000 for this model, that seems a little steep to me for a mid-sized truck...I can get a Nissan Titan for $22,980 right now...

Thanks!

Depending on what your looking for I bet you can get a 4x4 tundra around 25k out the door. They have good discounts on the tundra right now and barely anything off the tacomas. Just a thought

I really like the size and look of the Tacomas, I don't have the need for a full size truck since I commute around 50 miles per day to work, not that bad of a commute but I'd prefer a little better fuel economy than what the Tundra gets.

If anyone can share the price I should be looking for of the models I mentioned above it would be helpful.

Thanks!

I purchased a Tundra Double Cab 4x4 with TRD, cold weather and tow package and bedliner for 26,700 after rebate last month. I could not find a dealer to go any lower in the northern kentcky, cincy ohio area.
