Yu can answer your own question by getting an edmunds free avaluation. Yu will get invoice, MSRP AND, the average actual selling price at dealers across the country.

Great Indicator of value.

You didn't say what MSRP was on that vehicle, ie what the sticker said. Do you have that info.

Well to me that would seem high then, without doing a bunch of research online right now as I normally do before buying. Take it from a guy who always buys his vehicles at invoice, sometimes slightly higher sometimes lower, depending on model, etc., there are dealers who deal out there.

I think that on a 40000 vehicle invoice should be at least 6 grand lower maybe more. You are only about 3 grand below. Now i understand the rims are worth something. I am not into bling, bling, so I don't know. I just run stock rims. You will have to decide how much the rims are worth. But even if those rims are worth 2 grand let's say, the Tundra is a gas guzzler in a time when we will soon see 3.00 a gallon gas very quickly, it has been going up every day since the day after the election here, they should be bargaining like hell on these trucks. Not to mention this is suppose to be the last year of this design.

I think if it were me I would go to one of the online sites, like kbb, clymers, nada, etc. and figure out what invoice is on the vehicle. I would offer them invoice plus whatever you think the rims and tires are worth or walk. Too many other great deals out there.

I don't know what dealer gave you this deal but I see you are in Louisiana. I lived there 30 years until I retired and moved to Tennessee the first of this year. I lived in South Louisiana and on both of my Tundras I left my town and drove 60 miles to Price Leblanc in Baton Rouge and bought for invoice both times, the first time actually below. My local dealer would never get close. The Baton Rouge dealer just deals in straight volume. So give them a shout.

Good luck
Sammy

I bought the fighting chance information packet and according to it the invoice was at $35364 but that isnt including the wheels. The wheels are factory toyota(only place you can buy them is through the parts dept) Standard on the TSS package which is Gulf States specific.

This price is for a truck in Arkansas and they will drive the truck down to me as well.

Ok well it sounds like a pretty good deal then. I guess I was wrong on thinking invoice was lower on that truck. But if the wheels are worth 7 or 8 hundred bucks which is the difference between invoice and your price, then I say go for it if it is the truck you want. Sounds like you did good.

Look at my dealer and check my pics....
The wheels only would have cost (dealer cost about $1300.00) plus i would have had to sell the stock ones. So i dont think i got that bad of a deal for what I wanted anyway. Also without the hassle of selling a set of stock wheels/tires.
