Default 0%, 1.9% & 2.9%. Just through May or June also?

Anyone know if these low rates will continue through June or are they only until the end of May.

Also, If you were ready to buy would you do today or hold out to see if Toyota offers some sweet Memorial Day weekend incentives? Any thougts on that? Thx.

4th.

Any thought on Mem. Day Weekend incentives? Isn't that a weekend when they're wheeling and dealing? Would you buy now if you had the cash or wait till the end of the month. I'm not sure if I have the will power to wait. I might go for it this week and say screw the end of the month incentives.

I don't know that the "end of the month" deals are really any more better than later in the year. I would think that the June and July rates would be less than Mays, but I don;t know for sure. By June, it is close to 2008's coming out. I'd probably wait,.... if you can stand it.

I can't wait. I have cash in hand and I'm ready to go. It's like having a baby, there's never a perfect time.

F6,
Remember, Toyota's 3.9% was only for short term financing. If you can swing the higher payment, that's a sweet deal. I got Toyota's 5.9% (same as my credit union was offering) for 60 months because I wanted a lower payment.

If you wait till Memorial day, you might save a few hundred bucks, but not much more unless Toyota comes out with rebates. You never know, it won't hurt to wait and see if you're not in a big hurry. The deals on the Tundras are pretty good right now IMO, but the lack of rebates SUCKS.

I justed picked up my Crew Max TRD yesterday. The dealership gave me $3,000 off sticker and 6.49% for 72 months. They told me that the markup is $3,800. Did I get a good deal?

Sounds about right. 3K off sticker is indeed a good deal.

I don't understand? Aren't the current rates 0% for 36mo, 1.9% for 48mo. and 2.9% for 60mo? That's what I was told they are. I'm thinking of putting 18k down and going with the 2.9% over 5yrs to keep my payments down. I'll probably pay under 1k in interest of 5yrs and even less if I pay it off sooner. If I get the truck I'm looking at for invoice or say $500 over invoice my monthly payments will be around $177.00 a month. Does that make sense?

Finance the whole thing at 2.9 and put the cash in the bank at 5.0, that what I plan to do if I buy one. You can use some of the cash from your bank account with its extra interest to help with the higher payments if need be.

Wait, would someone confirm 0%? They told me 2.9% was the lowest for a short term payment. The amount of months does not concern me, the percentage does. If they offer 0% now I am glad I went home to think about purchasing the truck for a few days.

3k off sounds like a good deal to me. Does the 0%, 1.9% and 2.9% not apply to crewmax's? I'd be happy with 3k off. Do you think that's close to invoice or maybe a little over?

I've considered that option but for some reason I feel better about slapping down 18k, having monthly payments under $200.00 and knowing that my vehicle is two thirds paid off. The amount of interest I would be gaining by putting the 18k in the bank is really not that much.
