rocker switches are easier and more intuitive to finger without looking, although they won't change window switches to rockers because of the safety issue....if a 6-year-old leans on the window switch and out the window, it could cause the window to close on him and pin him. On the other hand, with the current lift/push design, if that six-year-old leans on the switch it'll take the window down rather than up. Just a safety thing

TMS USA could give a rats *** about Toyota owners experiences.

For starters , they should fix or revamp their Dealer franchise agreements. They must penalize Fraudulent Stealerships. But Toyota prefers to close their eyes. It is policy to do this as was once quoted by TMS. A dealer just needs to show good revenue. And TMS is happy!

Get the Dealers all on the SAME page. This means better trained techs and service managers. With a better channel of forthcoming Tech info. And most importantly, truly honor obvious warranty defects. Dealers really don't like honoring warranties and such. And they block access to TMS. When yu call TMS (800) the dealer gets all bent out of shape and gives the cust. a pissy attitude.
This happens over and over again. For many years. A pattern.
Without the above, it doesn't really matter whether or not the "seats have Height adjustments or the rocker switches are more appropriate".
Repair your faulty Dealership Franchise agreements. It doesn't work well. It is failing the customer base that is so important.
In the end Toyota will lose their #1 spot.
Toyota needs a lesson from Hyundai in this regard!!!!

Dear Lifetech...
I have read your rants on this thread as well as the 'meltdown' thread...
It clearly seems that you have an 'axe' to grind with Toyota.
I believe the 'a pissy attitude'..... is that of yours.....
and I have as many Toyotas as you do....

I just took delivery of a Gen III Prius III which was 'consigned' to a local 'Hypermiler Guru' who unfortunately could not take delivery....(at least that is what the dealer claims)
The shifter, although in a more convenient location, still provides the 'opposite' positions...forward to go backward and backward to go forward.....it must be a product of Toyotas 'reverse engineering' LOL
BTW if Toyotas listening.....how do I trickle charge my 12 V battery ?
I take frequent trips overseas and read that the 12 V will die after a week of non-use ?!?

I have been a loyal Toyota owner for years and i recently got board of their lineup and strayed over to VW for the TDI. If you want a bad dealer experience visit a VW dealer! VWoA makes Toyota look like angels in comparison. I couldn't even get the VW dealer to put the correct oil in a car that has big sticker under the hood warning that if the wrong oil is used your warranty is voided and lists the correct oil. I essentially got so fed up that I started paying a independent shop for repairs and maintenance even thought it was under warranty. After 2 years, 80k miles and $4,500 in repairs (not including work done under the warranty) I'm back to Toyota looking for my 8th Toyota.

Back to the OP
The fuel bladder sucks! It has puked fuel on me and my wife more times then i can count and some pumps that pump fuel to fast it cause it to shut off repeatedly.
