2005 Prius Battery

My 2005 Prius just hit 7,900 miles. In the last 2 weeks, driving pretty much as I have for the first 7,900 miles, the battery meter on the display no longer goes into the green zone. The battery meter indicates that the battery is only getting charged to approximately 5/8 capacity. I asked the dealer about this and was told that this is normal! No other explaination. Also, the batter does not seem to hold it's charge as long. Any comments from anyone? Thanks.

the battery level depends on a lot of factors, just drive the car dont worry about battery levels, the prius will never let the battery go below 40 % state of charge, so dont worry let hte computer decide everyhting, just drive it. The battery holds charge.
