Hey Lon,
Serious inquiry about some merchandise logo'ing here. I've got a close friend in the decal, custom wrap and logo business. He'd easily be able to wrap my entire truck in a huge TS logo, but that's never gonna happen. I would however, like to make some shirts for myself and any members that would be interested. I suppose I could run a Group Buy for a few weeks, charge only the cost of supplies and shipping; and run it all through Paypal. But that can all be worked out later.
Would you grant me permission to use the logo for this?
OR, do you already have these types of things made?
I'm talkin 'bout this logo:

I've done shirts in the past, several times in fact. I currently have a half dozen that I keep with that logo just for events, meetings or a call to principals office. A bit of advice, you would be better off doing hats instead of shirts for a number of reasons. They're cheaper, one size fits all, and they're easier to produce and ship. Patches are also a good idea since they can be sewn into any type of garment.

I like the hat idea because you don't get into problems with fit and TS doesn't get stuck with excess stock that nobody wants because of the size. It is a lot easier for TS to handle and they get more visability. You can wear your hat everyday but if you wear your shirt for more than1 day, people start to scatter. lol

If/When I do this, I am going to handle it like a solid group buy. Anyone left out and missing the deadline will be on the curb, shirtless. I do not plan on making a bulk supply to sit on. This ain't Overstock.com.

I'd take both hat and shirt. Standard small logo on shirt's front left is best; maybe members can suggest what goes on the back. I'll start: simple "TundraSolutions.com" across the back. T-Shirts get lame when they have too much crap on them.

I agree...to big of a logo or to busy is not good.

I need a new word of the month people!
Exactly what I was thinking Rich. Sounds good.
Front: TS logo ...(two color, blue on white)
Back: TundraSolutions.com ...(blue lettering)
This ain't gonna be a cheap screenprint, my friend does some killer graphics work. I'll get a quote from him this weekend. Then I'll start processing the GB and let it run for about two weeks. Get me the money (Paypal/Check/MO/Cash), I buy the shirts, print them all, ship them. I'm hoping the cost will be < $20 to your door.
I'm picky with t-shirts, I hate when they say pre-shrunk and still shrink... so you won't be buying a new shop rag.
The idea is to offer the following:
short sleever
long sleever
tank (women)
hoodie
Subject to change, pending my conversation this weekend.
