It was this forum (Truck>Tundra) that I got the idea to change my interior lights to LED. There is a detailed (several pages with pics) post about which LEDS to use and the part numbers from V-LED. So when I had a problem with one of the LED lights from V-LEAD my posting gets moved to another forum which I noticed has less viewers.
I undersatnd people need the keep topics in the right place but this seems fishy!
This thread is being moved to questions and comments...ironic right?

I'm sure the mod that moved it was cleaning up the forum...since this really isn't a specific "Tundra" related issue, the thread was moved.
Another good place for it would have been here. Electrical & Computer Systems - Tundra Solutions Forum

I understand that the sub-forums are there so people can read specifically on topics that interest them (such as electronics or audio) without worrying about model or generation.
However, if the post had model-specific information, such as bulbs for a 2007 Tundra, I personally would find that more useful in the Tundra section. JMO of course, for what it's worth! However, arguing incessantly about it here won't help. If you really want it moved back, PM an admin and state your case professionally and politely.

Good point and indeed true. There are a lot of topics moved to other sectors of this site it's just how thing's are and no change is required either as they makes the rules as they see fit just like someone editing my Tundraheadquaters event I posted and renamed it.

Look at it this way. If there were no subsections to keep things relatively categorized, all of the threads would be in one single forum. I'm sure no one wants to sift through hundreds of threads, clicking page after page, just to find one that's relatively intersting to one's liking.
You guys are telling me that even though I found some information in a thread and used that information and decided to post ON THAT THREAD about a problem I found it shouldn’t be posted IN THAT THREAD!
Yea, right.
I know how it works. I have been on hundreds of forums but this one is by far the heaviest handed mods I have had the displeasure to know.

Reason: More to say
Seriously, you are making this miniscule issue into a big debate. Instead of griping about the rules, abide by them. Simple concept to follow, if you are starting a thread and you want to keep it in a specific forum, have the title and original post specific to that forum. Otherwise, if you are generalizing about a topic, it could be moved. In your case, your thread got moved.

well that's your opinion and mine too . your viewpoint speaks for the vast majority problem is were guest here Nobody is forcing you to be on ts think of it as that.
Good luck but there are other forums to view if you don't like Ts move on it's that easy.
I like to go around and move people's posts that I don't like. I try and put them deep in unknown unrelated forums so no one will ever see them. Then I go in the background templates and modify your profile so the next time you login, you start to think, "Is this really my account? Did I just hack into someone else's on accident? Wow, I'm more computer savvy than I thought!" Then as you logout and try to log back in your own account (the one you were just logged into), I go and reset your profile back to the way it was. Now you log back in, all is normal, and your post is back where it was and you feel like a networking hacker guru.
It's really all just a confidence building exercise.

On Friday, you start a thread titled Do leds last long? in the Tundra forum. The thread reads "I replaced all my interior lights with LED from V-LEDS. After two weeks one of the high dollar ($10.00) LED bulbs quit . Only two of the 8 LEDS are working on the bulb. I sent V-LEDS an e-mail asking for a replacement so I will post here the results of the support. What kind of life expectancy should we get out of these bulbs?"
A site moderator responds to your thread with an answer, and since the thread is not about a Tundra or anything specifically Tundra related, he moves the thread from the Tundra forum to the Interior & Exterior forum where he think's it is better suited and will have better visibility to the topic.
My bad, I misunderstood. I thought the OP made a thread with part numbers that were specifically for the new Tundra. I didn't realize he simply posted an issue ON that thread.
