hi, i had posted a thread for a group buy in the group buy section, hoping it peak interest in the g-tech rr or ss. i also posted that if i was doing anything wrong, have the moderator's please delete the thread.
but i didn't want to wait. so i bought 1, & posted that. and i also said that i was going to post my result's, to inform you of what i thought of the product, just in case any of you wanted to buy 1. the results would come from a member not there web site.
but i violated a rule here, therefore getting it deleted,
and causing me to get once another infraction.
but i had said in the thread: if i was violating any rule , etc etc etc...
please delete the thread, before i got another infraction.
well both happened.
i honestly was going to post my result's here, on the RR unit.
as to my thought's on this product.
it is some what of a expenisve product about $300.
but i have decided not to post them.
when ever i get this poduct.
i felt it was neccessary to let you know that, it is only fair to our members,
to wonder what happened.
as i continue to try to help, i guess i continue to violate some rule's here.
i'm truely sorry.
i have posted many thread's with great info.
but i have decided to refrain from that.
this way, i can't get violated, & or infraction's or worse banned.
if i fell i can help i will post within the thread.
regards,
gorilla
Not to speak for anyone else, but I believe the infraction
was that he posted an idea for a group buy without
first checking in with the moderator for that subject. I read
his post before it got deleted.
Gorilla, I don't think you should refrain from coming
up with a group buy. There is a sticky in the group buy
section with the policy for posting a group buy. The
moderator there is nhparrot and you should pm him/her
with your idea and info and getting permission before
posting it. Sorry to hear you got the infraction. You post
some great stuff.
John

hi, i did ask in the thread, if i was doing anything wrong, please mod's delete it.
it stayed there until i said i didn't want to wait, so i bought 1.
than i said i was going to post my results, this way instead of reading:
what the company is putting on there web site.
you all would have a members experience instead.
than the infraction happened.
honestly this is absolutely unfair.
but it is what it is.
click on my gorilla name, & see how many infractions i have.
it's not o.k., since i have seen many get away with much worse.
i thought of several thing's but, for the members sake, i will leave well enough alone for now,
and continue to help members.
i wanted to keep typing but? never mind.
gorilla
Probably got into trouble because you neglected to read the rules before posting in the group buy section.
I've heard bits and pieces about the Gtech before and it did statstics of HP, 1/4 Mile times...etc. Curious to find out if this one is any better. Last one I played with put my buddies car at a 13.7sec 1/4 mile. Car was mostly stock and only ran a 15.4(I think 14.8 was stock on a Mazdaspeed MP3 Turbo) on a good day. Ever since I've been adverse to dropping that kind of change on a piece of technology.

It was probably a group buy policy WARNING and probably expired yesterday.
FYI, warnings are used to inform members of rules they may not have been aware of previously (ie., photo sizes, classifieds policies). Warnings are not infractions. Infractions are to notify members that they are going to be banned soon if they don't change their behavior on our internet forum.
If you complain about getting warnings, then you need to read the Announcements, the User Agreement, and the FAQ again.
**edit: if you have as many warnings and infractions as GORILLA, it's probably a good idea you review the suggested readings above.**

hi, look at g-tech's web site.
click on the u-tube run's, see what the g-tech say's & look at the time slip's.
this unit is not like there old unit's.
it also tell's you what the difference's are to true #'s.
it is the only 1 of it's kind in the world.
amazing, what it does.
read there web site. it's like having a dyno and a track all in 1 little unit.
it's only 300. if you compare it to a few dyno run's after each mod, and a few run's at the track every time you add something.
this pays for itself.
i also have a web site that will give you all a discount.
so you see, if there was no harm, no foul.
it would have been great for all members.
Just so everyone is clear on all the facts. Gorilla posted a thread in the Group Buy forum which vilolated our site Group Buy policy. I sent him a warning with the link to our Group Buy policy and removed his thread. As Tundradrenalin said in an earlier post, "warnings are used to inform members of rules they may not have been aware of previously (ie., photo sizes, classifieds policies). Warnings are not infractions."
it clearly states rules & regulation violation under: infraction.
not a group buy warning!
read it, seem's clear enough to me.
but like i said i waved the white flag.
and moved on.
but i'd like to make thing's clear.
funny thing, i recieved so many email's,
& message's asking me to stay.
because i have knowledge to help.
and have alway's helped.

Gorilla, it was an advisory warning. And everyone that has ever started or ever tried to start a Group Buy on TundraSolutions.com has received the same warning. You are taking this WAY to personally.
I wouldn't normally do this, but here is a portion of a screenshot from an administrator's view. It clearly states warning in multiple places.
Regards,
Tundradrenalin

In my experience the GTech is quite good under most circumstances. On a smooth surface with a smooth launch, you can expect results accurate to within a tenth or so, with a little poorer accuracy in trap speed (mph). When there are bumps on the road and/or wheelhop (anything deviating from smooth acceleration) the accuracy will diminish greatly.
