Default 1997 RAV4 Passenger side water leak

Suggestions please:-)

I am getting some water leaking onto the passenger side floor board when it rains. I have noticed it once while driving in a drizzle, and another time entering the car after it had rained hard the day/night before.
During the drizzle event, a found a water droplet hanging from a wire under the dash on the passenger side. The liquid is clear and odorless.
I suppose it could be leaking from around the bottom of the windshield and bypassing the dashboard, or some how through the mesh-grill-area where the windshield wipers attach.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Thanks.

I actually had a Rav (04) yesterday from Oregon. It came in for VSC lights on. It turned out to be corrosion in the right kick panel on a few connectors, from water leaking onto them.
The windshield was leaking, I drove it thru our carwash and could see water droplets forming along the lower edge of the windshield, way up behind the glove box. I had most of the dash out.
The Windshield was already aftermarket and had been replaced. I guess they just didnt get it sealed properly.
Tacomas are notoriuos for leaking windshields, they whistle.

What was the fix for the RAV(04) windshield leak?
Replace the weather stripping completely around the entire windshield, or was it possible to just fix the section that was leaking?
I've never tackled a leaky windshield before. Rusty connectors do not sound like a cool thing to have under your dash...

Thanks.

A windshield company is going to have to come out and reseal the windshield. I cleaned the connectors and wiring the best I was able to, we will see if the lights come back on later in the next few weeks.

The other thing to check is if you have a sun roof. There are 4 drain tubes, 1 on each corner of the sunroof. If they become plugged with dirt and debris, water can leak down the "A"pillars and onto the floor, but you usually notice water about your head too.

Thanks.
I'll take a trip to the car wash with a second pair of eyes and check on the windshield.
