Default firewall entry

I am looking for away to go through the firewall of my Toyota RAV4 2007. I am installing a two way radio system and looking for a gromet on the firewall. Specific information as to where to find it or pictures would be very helpful. Thanks, Garry

Default Re: firewall entry

Been there, done that. Easiest way is behind the passengers side strut support. Remove glove compartment, look up in the corner and you'll see a "boot" You can poke a hole throught it. I have two #6 cables to rear of vehicle. Make sure you fuse it at the battery.

You also have similar boot on drivers side, but it's much tighter to work.

OK? WA2SQQ
