08 RAV4 4x4 MPG Questions - Toyota Tundra Forums : Tundra Solutions Forum

I am close to buying a new 08 Limited 4x4 and was looking for some feedback from owners as to what they are getting for MPG on both the 4 and 6 cyl?

Can't speak exactly to the '08, but my '07 4x4 V6 now gets 25.6 freeway, dropping off a little in a head wind. Seems like 20.7 around town but I don't check as closely as when I am watching the gauge drop on the freeway. Nice vehicle with only wind noise complaints from me. Good luck with the buy. We have the V-6 4x2 Limited and we're getting 22mpg mixed. Only have 750 miles s it's too early to tell. With the new MPG rating system, you should get real close to sticker.

We have an 08 Rav 4L (4banger) here and with 6k milage and we get an average of 22/23 mpg. Mainly used as a commute vehicle 50/50 highway/city driving for the commute.
