Default Windshield Rattle

The early RAV's were notorious for a rattle at the base of the windshield which was the worst in cold weather. There were TSB's and fixes and nothing seemed to work. I ended up trading my 04 after 4 months 'cause I couldn't stand the noise.

Has anyone had any issues with rattles on the 07's or 08's?

Default Re: Windshield Rattle

My 07 V-6 goes into the dealer in two days to have the windshield resealed. I thought they would do the sonic leak check, but they said, "no, we will just reseal it." Sounds like the problem is cropping up pretty regular.

Also, I gave up on my 04 Solara because they could or would not fix the rattle at the bottom of the windshield, passenger side. Terrific, quiet, cruiser with the damn rattle banging away like a lunatic popcorn maker. I was more than surprised that Toyo didn't get after the problem, but finally gave up in disgust.
