Default How to remove the roof rack cross bar from 06 RAV

I can't find any reference in the owners manual as to how to remove the cross bars from the roof rack. Points and/or suggestions????

Thanks!

You have to remove the plastic end caps at the rear of the rails to be able to slide the crossbars off. They just clip on but they're persnickety to remove.

Once you get those out of the way, the end caps will just slide out. I did this very thing last weekend.
