Question 2008 Rav4 Remote Start

I just bought the wife a 2008 2WD RAV4 Limited yesterday. So far, I like it but am let down by the LACK of standard equipment that is not already apart of the vehicle. I'll leave that for another thread. What I am in need of is possible the instructions to add the Engine Remote Start and any related items that might be needed to do the install. Can anyone help? I'm also interested to know if anyone knows of a device that can monitor engine oil life expectancy. With the exception of Chevy, I don't know of any such device. Am I wrong?

I added remote start to my 04 Highlander. It wasn't that bad. But, I believe all Rav4's now have a transponder (antitheft) key system. So you have to bury one of your keys in the steering column, which sucks. Other than that, I have the bulldog xxx-80 and am happy with it.

Since the sludging fiasco earlier this decade, Toyota is sticking by it's 5000/7500 mile oil life. I know Honda has moved on to an oil life gauge based on engine load/rpm/time, but for whatever reason Toyota hasn't.
