check engine light egr valve

1997 Rav4 check engine light came on and had codes read at local AutoZone shows low EGR pressure. Had this replaced about a year ago and light has been coming on and off since. after last reset disconnect battery for a minute. it stayed off for 4weeks and about 400 miles, now back on reset again and only ran 100miles before coming on again. need to have inspected any ideas to the cause as the new egr can't be bad yet or maybe?

the problem is most likely the vsv (vac switching valve) a dealer only part around $100 mine had the same problem.search the forum and it will show how to get to it.
