Sirius for Rav4 09 limited?

Dilema, Paid extra to buy the brain or interface to have sirius in my new Rav limited. The XM signal was good for 90 days and I prefer Sirius. Problem. Dealer installed the interface and antenna, but it just wont work with my factory radio because I believe they are not compatable. Anyone else have this problem? As we speak it is at the dealer, I guess they bit off more than they could chew, they said I was the first one they have done trying to install sirius. I believe they will need to change the in dash radio to be compatable. This is very frustrating.....!
