Question Popping in steering - '06 Rav4

'06 Rav4 - Auto/2.4L

WHen I make turns I hear & feel popping in the steering.
It is getting progressively worse over the last 8 months. I have no steering CONTROLL problems, just the loud noise.
Any ideas whats causing this and if there is cause for concern?
Is there a fix? HELP!!!

Thanks Ya'll,

My wife has an 06 Rav4 4 cyl which has the same or similar issue, I describe it as a clicking at low speeds when you move the steering wheel side to side.

I don't have an answer since we haven't gotten it to the dealer yet but I can say you have company.

There's a driveshaft TSB available---it's a sticky over at ravworld---had mine done two weeks ago at the dealer and it's gone away----used to "pop" and "clunk" with low speed turning---parking lots were horrible.
