Ummmmm, my wife's RAV successfully hauled (rear seats removed) a recliner, a lawnmower (push), a week's worth of food and other miscelaneous items in one trip.
I don't think, however, that it would accommodate a mattress.
Well, if you removed the rear seats and front headrests, you might be able to hire a midget to drive it for ya'.
