Need wiring help with set of RAV4 OEM fog lights

I'm another trying to install fog lights on the 07 rav 4. Does anyone have wiring diagrams using factory wiring or the wiring that came with the lights?

Hello all!

Me2! I'm trying to install OEM fogs on an 07 RAV4-Base. In addition to the wiring diagram, I would also like to know, is it possible to having the fog lights turn on using the switch included in the kit (and not have them turn on when the low beam is on).

Hi Im new this TS I just recently I have my fog light Rav4 06 from ebay. I just want to make sure that I connect it right. " Black wire -Ground ,Red wire -Fog light signal and the Yellow wire - illumination signal. Pls let me know if im on the rigth track

If your using the factory wiring it should work. As long as the body ECU sees the proper signal it will send the signal to the combination meter to illuminate the fog light indicator. Your probably going to need the factory headlight/foglight switch. It sends a signal to the body ecu, which in turns send a signal to the combination meter.

I just have bought the RAV4 "OEM" fog lamps... I visit a local profesional installer and he has questions of how to install the wires. Such fog lamp kit I got it from ebay from TRENDGEAR. Does any one can help me?? the questions is how to conect the red wire and the white one. I thins that the red goes to the switch box, but I have no clue how to make the connections. tks in advance.

Got mine at ebay and it should comes with a switch an all d hardware and the switch that can be snap in by the lower leftside switch panel...

I am new to this forum and need help with installing Fog Lights on my 2005 RAV4. I did purchase the Trendgear set on ebay and I have some questions:

1. Do I need a special Bracket to secure the lights in the fender?
2. Or the lights simply plug-in in place without any securing bracket?
3. Do I simply connect the lights to the factory existing wires harness?
4. Will the light handle turn on the fog lights on together with the headlights?

1: not sure about the bracket, we always use the factory fog lights
2: They should be plugged into the existing wiring, you maybe have to cut the wires solder them with the aftermarket lights.
3:Yes
4: No, you need the TOYOTA Headlamp switch and relay, thias will make it plug and play.

hey thread. i have a part number that i got from RAV4WOLRD website that is interchangeable with the relay for fog lights on a 2006 RAV4. you will need to go to NAPA. the P/N=AR614. the original P/N=90080-87026. i am on my way to by one for my self. if you want check out the RAV4wolrd web site. they have the whole installation step by step.
