Trailer Wiring Harness ??

Would anyone know where to find Trailer Harness for 2006 RAV4 other than through dealer (@$140). Appreciate advice. Correct Email is mekelley@iamotelephone.com

I know that the dealer price may seem high,but very few of the aftermarket alternatives offer a no splice/no scotch-lock,weatherproof installation like the OEM connectors do.I did a quick search and only found direct plug in kits for the 2000-2005 style.If you can wait,the aftermarket will catch up with the new model soon,but my preference would be OEM over universal if it were someting I needed now.HTH

You can get one at etrailer.com. I think it was $60 or $70. Haven't figured out how to connect it yet. Requires a new line directly to the battery to avoid issues with air bags, etc. Big change related to handling LED lights on the 2006.
