Default odometer problem

My 2004 Rav4 electronic odometer stopped working today. Maybe a wire came loose or something. Anyone know where I would start to look to see if a wire came loose? speedomoter works fine. Fuses are fine.

There is no seperate circuit for the ODOMETER it is built into the combination meter.
You have to buy the whole combination meter.
They range from $450-$600 depending on your VIN.
There is a catch.
When you buy the combination meter from a dealer, the vehicle has to stay at the dealer until they send out the new unit and have it calibrated with the correct miles.(thats the law- FEDERAL as expalained to me).Its so you cant put more miles on the car with no speed, it has to deal with FRAUD and Disclosure.
Maybe someone else knows more about it.
We have had alot of people try to replace the odometer when their lease was up.

How many miles do you have?
The speedo/odo is 3yr/36k mile warranty.
Does your 05 have more than 36K miles?
