06 Tail Light Removal(Help)

Today my finance went out to her new 06 after work to find her tail light shattered and brake light not working. At work they have hadicap parking and infront of that there is regular parking. Well the handicap spot has a sign on a metal pole, apperently the person hit the pole and the sign went down and landed above the tail light slide down her vehicle and shattered the lens in the process.

So the cost of the tail light is gonna be $150(at discounted price). I was just thinking though it is a darn good thing that she backed into the parking spot or it might of been awhole lot worse.

If someone can give me some info on how to remove the broken tail light, it would help alot. The new one is coming in on fri.
