RAV4 twin.....2007 Hyundai Santa Fe - Toyota Tundra Forums : Tundra Solutions Forum

I was browsing car and driver online and saw some pictures of the 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe. I swear the photos of it look (to me) just like the redesigned RAV4 (except it doesn't have the stupid spare tire on the outside to block your view). Does anyone else see the similarities?

YES!!! I was browsing their website too and saw that, went into Hyundai's mini-site for the new Santa Fe, and I agree. Sure, the styling is progressive, but it seems to me they did a little eyeballing Toyota first. Hmmm. Kinda like Kia with their "a face only a mother could love" Amanti- the psuedo face of a Jaguar, with the tail of a Buick or two and a grill like, in Car and Driver's words, "a sunbeam waffle iron". I credit Hyundai for trying to move up in the automotive rankings, but to win my respect, they need to be a little more original. You're not alone!
