Default 2006 RAV4 Limited V6 ranked best in class.
The July 2006 edition of Consumer Reports rated the 2006 RAV4 Limited V6 as the best small SUV. The second rated small SUV is the 2006 RAV4 base (4cyl.) so I guess you could say that the RAV4 cleaned house.
The highest rated midsize suv was the Toyota Highlander Hybrid with the Toyota Highlander Limited (V6) coming in third in its category.
The Toyota 4Runner came in a disappointing sixth in the midsize suv category.
