Maintenanced Required

hi all
how do you get the maintenanced required light that's lit up on the dash off after you maintain the car??

You should find the procedure in the owner's manual. This is the procedure for an '06

1. Turn the ignition to the "OFF" position with the trip meter A reading showning.

2. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position while holding down the trip meter "RESET" button.

Hold down the knob for at least 5 seconds. The odometer indicates "000000" and the light goes off.

i think its all the same my 04 rav 4 have the same step

prior to 06 models u leave the trip meter in the odometer mode and not the trip mode hold button in and then turn key on will see _ _ _ _ _ they will go away one by one when all gone will go back to odometer mode
