2007 Rav4 Moulded Spare Tire Cover

We have ordered a Sport V6 which comes with a soft spare tire cover. We would like to have a moulded cover. Our dealer says that it is not available for the Sport due to the 18" wheels. Does anybody know if the cover from the Limited, which has 17" wheels, will fit over the Sport's 18" wheel?

That's crazy! We have a sport with 18's and a full size spare with molded cover. I would personally push back on the dealer. Our molded cover came with the sport package at no extra charge. I think he is feeding you a line of bull!

We are in Canada and there seems to be some differences in what is available in the US and what we can get done here. Can you tell me the name of your dealer so that my dealer can contact him?

I don't believe the hard cover is available in Canada. Check rav4world.com, there's several Canadian members there, so someone will have the answer.

Just bought a '06 RAV4 Sport for the wife.
Very nice vehicle.
A concern I have is the molded spare tire cover.
I just realized it can be stolen so easy.
Any type of locking device available?
